I'm Gabrielle Josling, a molecular biologist turned (aspiring) data scientist living in Melbourne, Australia. I did my PhD at the University of Melbourne and my postdoc at the Pennsylvania State University. You can see my publications from my previous life working on gene regulation in malaria parasites here.
While I learn about data science, I plan to blog regularly to help crystallise my thoughts as I go and document my progress. I'll mostly be posting about personal projects that are of particular interest to me and my experiments with different methods and tools. I use both R and Python.
